With the aim to improve efficiency, production rates, and save resources in terms of time and money. The ICT Directorate has gradually been automating various administrative and academic functions.
The various departmental members have been tasked with the responsibility to ensure that the departmental functions are automated and in synchrony with other departmental functions for seamless communication among dependent departments and for timely and seamless delivery of services.
Training is a prerequisite for the effective and efficient use of ICT automated services. In this regard, the ICT Directorate undertook ERP training sections for Deans, Directors, and CODs on 5th and 6th February 2019.
The training was officially opened by the University Vice-Chancellor Prof. Lucy Irungu where she praised the team for organizing the training since it will help educate the staff members on the functionality of ERP systems and eliminate errors.
Other members who attended the training include Prof. Joyce Agalo-Deputy Vice-Chancellor Academic and Student Affairs, Prof. Ezra Okemwa(Registrar ASA) and Dr. Stephen Mailu(Deputy Registrar ASA).
