Brings a wealth of experience having served at different levels at both Kenyatta University and Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and technology where she was in charge of all the administration functions of a Campus. Ms. Gichohi served as a Council Member for the CUK and its precursor till the end of the term in June 2017. She is currently a director at the Centre for Advocacy Against Drugs and Alcohol Abuse (CAADA). She holds a Master Degree in Rural Development from the University of Ireland, Galway, a Postgraduate Diploma in Peace and Conflict Studies from Africa Nazarene University, a National Diploma in Development Skills from Kimmage Manor, Dublin, and a Diploma in Business Management and Administration from Cambridge Tutorial College, England. She is currently pursuing Ph.D. in Development Studies at Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology. Florence has further worked with a number of organizations serving in different capacities among them being the Kenya Ecumenical Church Loan Fund, National Council for Churches of Kenya and as a Board member in One World Centre Galway, an International Development organization in Ireland.
